This red check shirt is one of my favourites - a nice weight fabric and great colour (not too red, just right!). The sleeves are a little shorter than I expected, and the chest is a little smaller, but I love wearing it - whether buttoned up or open over a a long sleeved t-shirt. I am on the large busted side but short in stature so most tops I've had make me look bigger than I am. Due to the fantastic styling of this shirt that is not the case in fact I look normal, it fits perfectly!! My friend tried it on she isn't large busted and it looked just as good on her. Love the top! I ordered on the large side as So often sizing generally is on the small side for size18 and I like loose clothing but this was too large but solved the problem by washing it at 95 degrees. I then ordered the wide trousers in the same fabric but one size down and they are perfect!

The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the colors of the fabric were not as I expected. The photos online look like the plaid is red and white, but it is actually red and tan/beige. I am keeping it because I like the style and can wear it with jeans and black slacks, but wanted to wear it with white pants. The quality of the top is quite good.

I am usually a UK size 8/10 , but I like this too to be rather loose and long at the back, hence I ordered a L , and I am happy with it . Otherwise , M will fit perfectly with the from just hanging off 2” from the belly button and back just in the middle of the hips .
